Join Our August Pet Food Drive: Helping Seniors, Shelter Pets, and the People Who Love Them
This August, Jacksonville Brewery is teaming up with the Brooke Davis Angel Fund for a month-long Pet Food Drive benefiting two local organizations that keep pets fed, healthy, and at home where they belong.
From August 1 through August 31, 2026, you can drop off pet food and supplies at our café. Two collection boxes will be set up side by side, so you can choose which organization your donation supports.
Who You’re Helping
Meals on Wheels for Pets Nassau
Meals on Wheels for Pets Nassau serves 24 seniors and approximately 50 pets in Nassau County. For a lot of these folks, a pet is the reason to get up in the morning, and keeping that pet fed shouldn’t mean choosing between groceries and kibble.
Most needed:
- 44-lb bags of dog food
- 30-lb bags of cat food
- Small breed dog food
- Canned dog and cat food (for pets with temporary special needs)
- Dog and cat treats
Safe Animal Shelter of Clay County
Safe Animal Shelter cares for roughly 200 animals at any given time. Beyond food, the day-to-day cost of running a shelter that size adds up fast, which is why cleaning supplies matter just as much as the food bowls.
Most needed:
- Dog and cat food
- Dog and cat treats
- Cleaning supplies
- Cat litter
- Laundry detergent
- Pet toys and bedding
- Paper towels
- Bleach
How to Donate
Bring your donation to the café any time during the month of August and place it in the box for the organization you’d like to support. That’s it. No sign-up, no forms, no minimum.
If you’re not sure which box to pick, either one is a good answer. Both organizations are working the same problem from different angles.

The drive is coordinated by the Brooke Davis Angel Fund, a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in memory of Dr. Brooke Davis, DVM. The organization honors Brooke’s legacy by helping pets and the families who love them.
